He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Shirling Channell and Willis Alexander Channell; his wife Mary Frances Smith Channell; and his siblings, George Channell, Floyd Channell and Alice Duggan.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Channell (Linda); his granddaughter Mary Lynn Channell; and his siblings, Nola Ennis, Carolyn Smith, Herman Channell (Barbara Ann), Jane Wells, Catherine Hawkins, Emilee Jackson, Yorkie and Lady. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Wrens Christian Fellowship Church, earmarked for the Building Fund, 202 Russell Street, Wrens, GA 30833.
