We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2023, at the age of 76, Henry Michael Mauney of Wrens, Georgia, born in Leesburg, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annie Peebles Mauney (Charles "Fred" Mauney) and Mickey; his wife Carolyn Lee Arrington Mauney; his children, Lisa Mauney, Stephen Michael Mauney and April M. Standard; his grandson Timothy "Michael" Standard; and his siblings, John Robert Mauney and Joanie M. Williford (Dwight). He was also cherished by other extended family, and many friends.
Among his many accomplishments was his significant contribution to education through teaching GED classes at Davisboro Women's Prison.
