It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Louise Channell of Wrens, Georgia, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Cecil Channell; her parents, Mildred Louise Neal Wren and Olen "Foots" Chesley Wren; and her brother Lewis Wren. She is survived by: her close friend Roy "Jay" Davis; her daughters, Janet Morris of Hinesville, Susan Scarboro (Keith) of Bartow and Kimberly Cliett (Patrick) of Grovetown; her sister Faye Brown (Mike) of Branson, MO; and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Bazemore (Jeremy), Lauren Morris, Heather Scarboro, Emily Scarboro, Kendyl Weeks (Caleb) and Dylan Wood. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; other extended family, church family and friends.
Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
