She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlean Thigpen Williams and Ollie Connell Williams; and her daughter Shannon Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Max Lewis Johnson; her son William Johnson (Amanda); her grandson Zachary Johnson; her sisters, Dale Clements (Emory), Ann McGahee (Fay) and Jean McGahee; her niece Lisa McDonald (Greg); and her nephew Greg Clements. She is also survived by other extended family, and many friends.
