He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bennett and Pearl Bucklew; his children, Junior Sigmond and Wanda Tyson; his grandchildren, Carlton Bennett, Tammy Crowder and Sammy "Buford" Tyson; and his siblings, James "JC" Bennett, Charles "Chester" Bennett, Randy Bennett, Grady Bennett, Carol "Janie" Monroe and Elzie "Della" Beck.
He is survived by: his children, Albert Bennett, James Bennett, John Bennett (Melanie), Sherry Able (Ron), Kay Burke (Dean), Stephanie Mills (Timothy) and Millicent Sullivan; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth "Lubba" Passmore, Erma Hill of James, Hazel Bennett, Troy Bennett and William "Billy" Bennett. He is also survived by grandchildren; sixty-five (65) great grandchildren; ten (10) great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Alzheimer's and tremors would later rob him of the ability to build his masterpieces, but it only made his heart grow stronger for his family and his Lord and Savior.
