He was predeceased by: his children, Donald Eugene Simmons and Brianna Nicole Simmons; and his brother Cecil Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Tammy May Simmons; his children, Gail Lannette Reed Simmons, Marc P. Simmons, Natasha S. VanArkel (Dustin), Joshua Simmons and Sierra Simmons; his brother Jeff Simmons (Mary); and his grandchildren, McKenzi Craft, Norah Allen, Cooper and Parker VanArkel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, other extended family, church family and friends.
A visitation will be held prior to the services from 2:00 – 6:00 P. M. Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
