It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Hair Jr. (Wrens, Georgia), who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Gene Hair; and his siblings, Emily Reeves, Libby Stewart and Roy Hair. He is survived by: his spouse Jewel Sheppard Hair; his children, Alvin "Butch" Hair (Patsy), Nathaniel Newsome (Debra), Clay Newsome and Tonya Lariscy; his sisters, Dean Shaw and Thelma Lee James; and his grandchildren, Amy Farris, Lil Butch Hair, Tiffany Revel (Roger), Allison N. Bazemore (Jason), Laura Lynn Williamson (Travis), Dr. Shae N. Kramer (Jasen), Jaycen Newsome (Bethany) and Austin McNeely (Macy). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Because of the family's concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to Wrens Baptist Church, PO Box 217, Wrens, GA 38033 earmarked for Greater Things/Building Fund.
