With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe F. Johnston of Woodstock, Georgia, born in Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe F. Johnston to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Nannette Johnston (Clements); his grandfathers, Dr. James M. Sullivan of Hayesville, Joe and Joseph Johnston; his parents, Floyd Johnston and Bennie Lee Johnston (Sullivan); and his sister Lillian Ann (Johnston). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law.
