He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Alfred Hammond, Sr. and Myrtle Hammond (Cook); and his siblings, Billy Wayne Hammond (Bill), Bud Hammond, Robert Lee Hammond (Bob) and Betty Marie Dodds.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Hammond (Jayne); his children, Sherri Lipscomb (Athony), Jason Hammond and Summer Silk (Randy); his siblings, Sharon Alfrey and Larry Hurley; and his grandchildren, Halle Hammond, Max Hammond, Charlie Hammond, Regan Silk and Ellah Silk. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
