He was predeceased by: his parents, James Attaway Kennedy Sr. and Edith Edwards Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Louise Carter Kennedy of Woodstock, GA; his brother Robert C. Kennedy of Acworth, GA; his cousin Alan Edwards (Barbara); his nephew Alan Kennedy (Allison); his children, Diane Kennedy (Alex Reddick) of Woodstock, GA and David Kennedy (Kathy) of Emigrant, Montana; his grandchildren, Amanda Kennedy Zolan (Alex), Christopher Hudson Kennedy (Christina) and Ryan Austen Kennedy (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Kennedy Zolan, Charlie Nouvel Kennedy, Rosemary Hudson Zolan, Theodore Marie Kennedy, Lorelei Steinway Zolan, Campbell Lee Kennedy and William Hayes Kennedy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the College Park Cemetery (College Park, GA 30337).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donationses be made to Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.
