He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Leatherwood and Idelle Leatherwood; and his sister Isabel Doswell. He is survived by: his wife Martha B. Leatherwood; his children, Ruthann Guthrie (Glenn) of Marietta, Georgia and Cliff Leatherwood (Hope) of Woodstock, Georgia; his grandchildren, Bryce Leatherwood, Lance Leatherwood and Eleanor Guthrie; his niece Anne Wright (Bill); and his nephews, Joseph Doswell (Diana) and John Doswell (Kris).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Frank's honor to Grace Resurrection Methodist Church – Marietta, Georgia.
