She is survived by: her husband Robert Joseph Gennell; her children, Nathan Thompson Jr. (Sue), Sherry Byrd (late Steve), Tamela Estrada (Michael), Ginny Bell (Chris), Michael Moore (Marja), Kenneth Gennell and Tanya Gennell; her grandchildren, Nathan Thompson III (Crystal), Steven Byrd (Amanda), Leah McNeill (Pete), Kristen Buckley (Jason), Matthew Higdon (Markley), Samantha Thrash (John Michael), Savannah Fouts (Joe), Jonathan Higdon, Shannon Mohan (Donovan), Lauren Weldon (Thomas), Justin Fowler and Joshua Fowler; her great grandchildren, Michelle, Bella, Shiloh, Adeline, Gunner, Leon, Willow, Waylon, Sunny, Natalyia, Jude and Cricket; her parents, Columbus Bedsole and Elmer Adams Bedsole; and her friends, Dorothy and Mary Jo. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc. (8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens (4355 Hwy 92, Acworth, GA 30102).
