She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Spencer Stout and Conrad Wilson Stout; her siblings, Helen Lehman, Velma Lee Collins, Lila Ruth Sunderland, Glenda Kirkhart and Richard Stout; her son Jeffrey Atkinson; and her pets, Murphy and Phoebe.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Atkinson (Andrea), Mark Atkinson, Monte Atkinson (Kate) and Jennifer Painter (Timothy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
