She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hobgood and Ruth Hobgood; her husband Craig Whitmore; and her siblings, Ed Hobgood, Margaret Kirk and Virgil Hobgood.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Whitmore Woodruff (Steven), Brian Whitmore (Tammy), Jeff Whitmore Brothers (Dena), Gerald Hobgood and Michael Hobgood (Bambi); her sisters, Geri Harper (Jack), Patsy McCarty (Steve) and Bonnie DeBord (Danny); and her sister-in-law Barbara Chambers. She is also survived by Six Grandchildren Ten Great-Grand Children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her memory.
