She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Kern and Ruby Alpers Kern; her husband Robert Arthur Pitzer, Sr.; her son Robert Pitzer, Jr.; and her brother Jack Kelso.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Pitzer (Kimberly Daniels), Tony Pitzer (Donna), Lisa Debruyn and Tammy Doyle. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
