With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Thrift (Woodbine, Georgia), born in Waverly, Georgia, who passed away on April 21, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Wiley and Annie Bell Wiley. She is survived by: her son Joey; her husband Joseph Thrift of Woodbine; her daughters, Debbie Outlaw (JC) of St. Marys, Tina Gilmore (Glenn) of Milledgeville and Roxanne Nantze (Ralph) of Kingsland; her sister Annie Middleton of Yulee; her grandchildren, Heather Vanzant (Darrell) of White Oak, James Outlaw (Ami) of St. Marys, Stacy Gilmore of Milledgeville, Tara Grimes (James) of Cameron, NC and Brittany Perreira (Jacob) of Folkston; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Outlaw, Brooke Vanzant, Camden Outlaw, Hunter Vanzant, Melodi Outlaw, Bridgette Teasley, Jesse Teasley, Ethan Teasley, Kenslie Gilmore, Haleigh Grimes and Joey Grimes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Mrs. Thrift may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodbine, Ga.
