He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Lyon and Wanda Jean Crocker Gerlach; his wife Laura Lee Gerlach of Woodbine; his children, Matthew Gerlach of Los Angeles, Catherine Martin (Justin) of Tacoma, WA, Margie Gerlach of Kingsland, GA and Amelia Gerlach (Tim) of Camp LeJeune, NC; his siblings, Tom Dodson (Cathy) of Olympia, Connie Peabody (Ray) of Tigard and Rosy Olivas (Ron) of Tacoma; and his grandchildren, Adonis Robertson and Rosalinda Vanrosendael.
