She was predeceased by: her husband Joel M. Cason, Sr. (Mack); her son Wayne H. Cason; her granddaughter Melissa Ann Cason; her parents, Ralph G. Kaney Sr. and Emma Godwin Kaney; her siblings, Ralph G. Kaney, Jr., Gardell K. Kaney and Patricia Weatherington; and her great grandchild Ronald H. Carter III (RC).
She is survived by: her children, Joel M. Cason, Jr. (Deborah) of Hendersonville, NC, Keith G. Cason of Fernandina Beach, FL, Steven D. Cason (Alice) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Garry M. Cason (Dot) of Brunswick, GA, Sammy J. Cason (Carol) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Maxine L. Williams (Mahlon) of Woodbine, GA. She is also survived by 14 grand children, 19 great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
Her family requests that memorial donation be made in her name to First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
