She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt L. Chitwood and Eloise Duck Chitwood; her husband Jack E. Evans; her son Greg Evans; and her siblings, Peggy Skelton, Ronnie Chitwood and Joe Chitwood.
She is survived by: her son Hoyt Evans (Kristi) of Crawford, GA; her siblings, Polly Cordell (Tom) of Hartwell and Thomas Chitwood (Brenda); her grandchildren, Will Evans (Risha), Kathryn Smith (Matt), Dillon Evans (Alaetra), Shelby Evans, Colton Evans and Garrett Evans; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Smith, Abby Smith and Asher Smith.
Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Whitehall Baptist Church, 392 Whitehall Road, Athens GA 30605.
