He was predeceased by: his wife Elva; and his children, Audrey Mayernik and John Alvarez. He is survived by: his children, Sam Alvarez, Cindy Diemer (Tom), Rita Libonati (Bob), Kevin Mayernik, Wesley Mayernik (Amelia), Diona Barbery (Darrell), Valarie Kimura (Dyce), Alex Alvarez, Nick Alvarez and Mike Diemer (Ann); his great grandchildren, Konner, Tabitha, Harrison Mayernik, Isaiah, Naomi and Jordon Kimura; and his son-in-law Larry Mayernik.
The family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, a Memorial Gift be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
