Though John Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Casey and Margaret Sumner Casey; and his brother Thomas Casey (Peggy). He is survived by: his wife Donna Casey; his children, Susan Holladay (Ted) of Winterville, GA and Kendall Casey (Sherri) of Aberdeen, NC; and his grandchildren, Austin Holladay of Deerfield Beach, FL, Lyle Holladay of North Port, FL, Alea Munoz of Aberdeen, NC and McKenna Casey of Aberdeen, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at the Winterville Cemetery.
