He was predeceased by: his brother Ashley Malaier; and his son-in-law David Langford. He is survived by: his wife Marian Collins Malaier; his children, Melissa "Lisa" Malaier Langford, John Lance Malaier and Lyle Daniel Malaier (Melissa); and his sister Jane Malaier Reese (Justin). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
