She was predeceased by: her parents, Aza Lee Burton and Will Burton; her husband Paul Lloyd Callaway; and her siblings, Estelle Starnes and Jake "J. T." Martin.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken Callaway (Lisa) and Steve Callaway; her grandchildren, Chad Callaway (Chancey) and Kalen Bridges (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Cade Callaway and Kenley Bridges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Athens Memory Gardens (5195 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605).
