He was predeceased by: his parent Newlin Hogeland Harter. He is survived by: his parent Esther Banks Harter; his children, Carl Ray Harter, Debra Harter Furbish and John C. Harter; his sister Alma Harter Vogels; and his great grandchildren, Colton and Anthony. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
