She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Otral Cherry and Jaunita Bert Cherry; and her sister Joann Adams. She is survived by: her children, Ginger Barnhill (Michael) and Stan Hunnicutt (Jennifer); her friend Dixie Woodall; her grandchildren, Philip Wallace Barnhill, Sarah Jean Barnhill, Ariel Sloan Barnhill, Amelia Rae Tucker and Parker Chase Hunnicutt; and the father of her children Philip West Hunnicutt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
