He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea Scheffler Paul and George H. Paul; his brother George W. Paul; his parents-in-law, Grady Mullins and Grace Mullins; his sisters-in-law, Janice Hardin, Carol Hull and Debra Diane Mullins; his niece Valerie Hardin; and his brother-in-law Roy Burrows.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mullins Paul; his stepmother Frances Mullins; his sister Beryl Wernberg; his nieces, Char Blashill, Crystal Jensen, Jennifer McClane, Blanca and Marlen Burrows; and his siblings-in-law, Pailin Paul, Lynda Burrows Roberts and Clement Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 12641 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
