She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Smith and Maudie Mae Terry Smith; her husband John D. Wells, Jr.; her children, John Wesley, Donald Glenn Wells and Marian Wells; and her siblings, Berda Mae LeCroy, Eveleen May, Elbert, Red, Emmitt, Herbert and Ewin Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Ann Dye, Cindy Burchfield and Karian Wells; her grandchildren, Lloyd Dale Dye, Jr., Greg Brassfield (Beth), Austin Barnes (Kristian) and Maddie Burchfield; her great grandchildren, Noah Dye, Dustin, Blake Brassfield, Liam, Rayland and Layla Barnes; and her brother Etheridge Smith (Ellen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
