Larry Alan Hardwick

Larry Alan Hardwick, 63, of Winston, formerly of Tifton passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Harold Chambers and Rocky Rochester officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. before the service. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
Mr. Hardwick was born September 8, 1955 in Tifton to the late Dr. H. Douglas Hardwick and Ethel Louise Kelly Hardwick. He was owner of Hardwick Waterproofing for approximately twenty years and former member of Ridge Avenue Church of Christ. Larry was an entrepreneur and interested in new products and services and worked with many contractors in the west Georgia area for twenty years. Larry enjoyed sports and played on the tennis team while attending ABAC. He furthered his education in business and graduated from Valdosta State College. He was an avid fan of the UGA Bulldogs. Larry was loved and appreciated by those who knew him as a caring, dependable and genuine person. Larry had a quick wit and was fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his sisters, Lynn Dixon of Greensboro, Brenda and Sim Christie of Woodstock and Carolyn Niesielowski of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; his brother, John and Jan Hardwick of Loganville; nieces and nephews, Douglas P. Christie, Ryan M. Christie, Jordan K. Chambliss, Harrison D. Hardwick, Blake T. Niesielowski, Jonathan T. Hardwick, Alan S. Christie and Lindsay K. Hardwick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, George Chambliss, Dr. Sammie Dixon and Steve Niesielowski.
