He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lovins and Jewell Owens Lovins. He is survived by: his wife Kim Wallace Lovins; his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Lovins Gilbert (Brian); his granddaughters, Deanna Gilbert Cobb (Bryce) and Alyssa Jewell Gilbert; his brothers, Kenneth Lovins and Ollie B. Lovins; and his nephew Timothy James Lovins (Jeanette).
