He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Burton Popham and Annie Mae Smith Popham; and his siblings, Willie Popham Thompson, Christine Popham Horne, Frances Popham Walker Morgan and McArthur "Mac" Popham.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Bragg Popham; his daughter Gail Scogin (Joe); his grandsons, Travis Scogin (Katie) and Bobby Scogin (Jess); his great grandchildren, Rylee, Noah, Adley, Ryder, Russell Popham, Arthur "Oscar" Beckum, Brian Shoemaker and Kirk Cook; his siblings, Charles Popham, Irene Glore and Reba Mitchell; and his brother-in-law Jerry Bragg (Denise). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
