Barbara Thran Gilbert Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, at the age of 66, Barbara Thran Gilbert of Winston, Georgia, born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thran and Margaret Helyer Thran. She is survived by: her husband Merritt C. Gilbert of Winston, Georgia; her children, Brandi Landrum of Winston, Georgia, Brandon (Casey Presley), Michael (Carli Gilbert) and David (Michelle Gilbert); her sister Beverly; her brother-in-law Johnny Stewart of Alpine, Alabama; her brother Harry; her sister-in-law Debra Thran Stempien of Ormond Beach, Florida; and her grandchildren, Bailee, Katie, Morgan, Peyton, Avery, Clete, Ella, Tori, Alexa and Savannah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
