It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyesia Sharra Burgess (Winder, Georgia), who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Kahmari Denise Jackson; her grandparents, Willie Smith (Jacqueline), William Cooper (Ethylene) and Melvin Burgess; her uncle James Burgess; and her cousin Tyrus Davis.
She is survived by: her parents, Donna Smith (Mother) of Bethlehem, GA and Robert Burgess (Father) of Winder, GA; her children, JaNauatica N'Zha Burgess, Zion Janaey Burgess of Bethlehem, GA, Karma LaMaya Tanner of Winder, GA, DiQuan Zymir Tanner of Winder, GA, Landon TyQuis Tanner of Winder, GA and Kyson Reza Stillwell of Statham, GA; her siblings, Donte'Burgess of Bethlehem, GA, Ahikam Griffin of South Carolina, Towanna Burgess of Monroe, GA, Latasha Gorlu of Gainesville, GA and Lyric Burgess Halle Burgess of Winder, GA; and her aunt Jean Smith (Robert Mayweather) of Winder, GA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the White Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church (123 E New St, Winder, GA 30680).
