He is survived by: his father Winford E. Orr; his wife Bonnie Stein Orr of Winder; his mother LaRue Lunsford Orr of Winder; his children, Sarah Beth, Evan Orr and Jesslyn Orr; his brother Mark Orr (Becky); and his nephews, Clint Orr, Clay Orr and Ben Orr.

The family has respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Dr. Orr to the American Kidney foundation, 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016.
