He was predeceased by: his parent Juanita Berkshire; his stepfather Earl Berkshire; and his sister Marge Purins. He is survived by: his wife Janet Calhoun; and his children, Rhonda Bush (Earl), Becki Payiatsos (Mario), Stephanie Lunsford (Tim) and Gary Calhoun. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
