He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Boyd and Dorothy Boyd; his siblings, Kenneth, Joyce Struble and Dorothy Wagner; and his nephew Marty Struble.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Boyd; his children, Tricia Boyd, Tarik of Winder, GA, Lisa, Shawn Rodda of Winder, GA and Richard (Sheila) of Clayton; his siblings, Herbert (Nichy) of Sarasota and Pat Robertson of Middletown; his brother-in-law Terry Wagner of Middletown; and also Rich Terwilliger.
