He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Lassiter Zakas; and his parents, Melvin Zakas and Mary Lambert Zakas. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Wallace (Zack) of Winder; his sister Elaine Allen (Marvin) of Flowery Branch; and his grandchildren, Hannah Barrett, Aubrey, Addison and Camden Wallace.
