Rachel Banks Lyons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Banks Lyons of Winder, Georgia, born in Americus, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erasmus Beall Banks and Mary Goree Banks; her husband Harold Dwight Lyons, Sr.; her son Jeffrey David Lyons; and her siblings, Herbert Banks and Mary Green.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwight Lyons (Helen Ruth) of King George, VA, Chris Lyons (Christie) of Winder, GA and Steve Lyons (Kay) of Dallas, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Winder First Baptist Building Fund.
