She was predeceased by: her brothers, Ron Snay and Robert Snay; her sons-in-law, Wayne Hull and Rick Weisman; her grandson Jeremy Dawson; her great great grandchild Carter Chaffin; and her father Clarence Snay.
She is survived by: her husband Clayton Dawson; and her children, Douglas Dawson (Chris), Lynn Hull, Nancy Weisman and Cheryl Webb. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Midway United Methodist Church 215 Kilcrease Road Auburn, GA 30011.
