He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Anthony Herring; his children, Angela Herring and Paul Herring Jr; and his son-in-law Rodney Gober. He is survived by: his daughter Penny Gober of Winder; his grandchildren, Stephanie Bramlett (Russ) of Winder, Randy Gober (Allison) of Winder and Roger Gober (Rachel) of Jefferson; and his great grandchildren, Haley, Conner, Bradyn Bramlett, R. J., Alivia and Reid Gober.
