She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Porter and Rosa Linn Wilburn Porter; her husband Jim Mays; her siblings, Buddy, Jimmy, Tommy Porter, Mary Doty and Rachel Higgins; and her grandson Bubba Mays.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff and Eddie Mays of Winder; her sister Thelma Laney of Winder; her granddaughter Brandi Mays of Lawrenceville; and her great grandchild Xylon Mays of Athens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Pentecost United Methodist Church.
