He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso "Babe" Fumea and Fran McCullough Fumea; and his brother Rick Fumea (Susan). He is survived by: his wife Dotty Tapp Fumea; his daughter Stephanie Highfield (Keith) of Dacula; his grandchild Minister Ray K. Fumea (Jennifer) of Winder; his sisters, Deb Farris (Everett) of Nebo, NC and Teresa Hunt (Charlie) of Largo, FL.; and his grandchildren, Heather Hicks (Josh), Drew Highfield, Brett Highfield, Hannah Fumea and Gracie Fumea.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Whistleville Christian Church (83 Patrick Mill Rd SW, Winder, GA 30680).
