He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Simpson Mays and Sadie Bell Moon Mays; and his brother Phillip Mays. He is survived by: his wife Doris Mays; his children, Rodney Mays (Dru) of Bethlehem and Michelle Crissinger (Andy) of Ft. Mill, SC; his siblings, Glenda Shaw of Winder, Mark Mays of Newnan, Marsha Greenwood of Talking Rock and Sara Mays; his grandchildren, Mariana Melendez-Mays, Hannah Lovell, Tanner Carnes, Ryleigh Carnes, Beulah Crissinger, Chayah Crissinger and Judah Crissinger; and his great grandchild Enoch Pistole.
