She was predeceased by: her parent William Curtis Saunders; her brothers, Roscoe Saunders, Randolph Saunders, Walter Saunders and Robert Louis Saunders; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Sauls.

She is survived by: her parent Lillie Mae Smith Saunders; her grandparents, James Madison, Sophionia Bush Saunders and Mary Ann; her sons, Marty Sorrough and Larry Ivey; her siblings, Buddy Saunders (Jane), Lucy Smith, Marie Sauls and Beatrice Coe (Tom); her sisters-in-law, Edna Saunders and Karla Saunders; her grandchildren, Michael and Misty; and her great grandchildren, Aliah Marshall, Kayden Massey and Hazel Sorrough. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
