He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Colquitt Elrod and Minnie Bohannon Elrod; and his siblings, Marilyn Bryant and Eton Matthew Elrod. He is survived by: his children, Cissy Elrod of Winder, Amanda Haney of Rockmart and Jason Elrod of Cartersville; and his siblings, Martha Harp of Winder, Annette Freeman of Pell City, AL and Howard Elrod of Cartersville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
