She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Marr; her sons, Phil Marr and Ricky Marr; her parents, Branson Sloan and Colena Wood Sloan; and her siblings, Bernice, Rilla, Jarvis, Ernest Paul and Jim Bob Sloan.
She is survived by: her daughter Renee; her children-in-law, Chris Montgomery of Winder and Mao Marr of Dacula, GA; her grandchildren, Christy and Andy Wright; her great grandchildren, Liam Wright and Kimber Wright; her brother Terrell Sloan (Diane) of Hoschton, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Pam Sloan of Hoschton, Louise Gibson (John) of Clarkesville, GA and Faye Page of Athens, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Marie Marr.
