She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Jake Grissom and Winnie Lee Grissom Russell; and her siblings, Virginia Grissom Williams, Emma Grissom and Buren Lee Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Trina Grissom and Melitta Weaver; her siblings, Mary Ann Grissom Price, Saralee Johnson, Jon Grissom (Cathy) and La Trelle Pate (Charles); and her grandchildren, Shakari Grissom, Dante Weaver, Cameron Millsap, Aliyah Weaver and Taylor Millsap.
