He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosette Patton and William "Harold" Patton; his wife Nina Brock Patton; and his brother Terry Wayne Patton. He is survived by: his children, Nathan Patton of Dahlonega and Amanda Patterson (Matthew) of Dahlonega; and his siblings, Tim Patton (Catherine) of Winder, Sheila Renfroe (James) of Winder and Betty Hardigree (James) of Statham. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
