She was predeceased by: her husband John Deane; and her parents, Grover Tharp and Naomi Tharp. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Deane of Oswego, IL and Sarah Dell of Auburn, GA; her siblings, Nick Tharp of Indiana, Sally Kaufmann of Georgia, Bess Maule of Pennsylvania and Charlie Tharp of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, Calvin Deane, Emily, Arianna and Dalton Dell.
