She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Duran and Candelaria Suarez; her husband Pio Alvarez; her daughters, Odalis and Rosa Maria; and her siblings, Elena, Josefina, Manuel, Jose and Ignacio.
She is survived by: her children, Pio Eladio Alvarez (Marlene), Rolando Emilio Alvarez (Mislaidys), Jorge Luis Alvarez, Esteban Alvarez (Tina) and Ramona Alvarez; her great great grandchild Roxana Maria Alvarez (Jorge); her siblings, Marta, Sulima and Ramon; her half-brothers, Pablo and Carlos; and her stepsiblings, Vicente, Orlando and Soila Estrella Rojas.
