It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Millard Prater (Winder, Georgia), who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Armas and Melva Carver Prater; and his siblings, Charlie, Joyce Poucher and Patty Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gray Prater of Winder; his daughters, Tammy Davis (John) of Mabelton, Kathie Rash (Scott) of Winder and Sherry Atwood (Tony) of Jefferson; his brother Ronnie Prater (Shirley) of Braselton; his grandchildren, Stacy Rash and Destiny Rash; and his great grandchildren, Isiah Reed and Khloe Reed.
Donations may be made to The Georgia Masonic Children's Home in memory of John.
